In this role, you will analyze market trends, track product performance metrics, and gather stakeholder feedback to directly inform our product strategy and development roadmap. Working collaboratively across cross-functional teams, you will help drive efficient product execution, draft core requirement documentation, and support user acceptance activities.\nReports to: Head of Products, CDS\n\nJob Location: Hybrid (2-3 days in office) - based in Toronto, ON.\n\nKey Accountabilities\nMarket and Competitive Analysis:\nConduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify trends,opportunities, and threats.\n\nAnalyze market data and customer feedback to identify unmet needs and potential product enhancements.\n\nMonitor competitor activities and provide insights into market dynamics.\n\nData Analysis and Reporting:\nGather and analyze product performance metrics, customer usage data, and financial data.\n\nMaintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).\n\nProvide data-driven insights and recommendations to support product decisions.\n\nProduct Requirements and Documentation:\nSupport the Product Managers in gathering and documenting product and business requirements.\n\nCreate and maintain product documentation, including user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.\n\nSupport the development and maintenance of product roadmaps.\n\nCustomer and Stakeholder Support:\nAssist in gathering and analyzing customer feedback through surveys, interviews, and other methods.\n\nSupport the Product Manager in communicating product updates and information to stakeholders.\n\nAssist in resolving product-related issues and inquiries.\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration:\nWork closely with technology, operations, and other teams to support product development and execution.\n\nProvide analytical support to cross-functional projects.\n\nAssist in the testing and validation of product features.\n\nMust Have(s)\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.\n\nExperience: 3-5+ years of relevant experience in product analysis, market research, or financial analysis.\n\nTechnical Skills: Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Advanced Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau).\n\nAnalytical Mindset: Demonstrated ability to translate raw qualitative and quantitative data into actionable business insights.\n\nCommunication: Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills with an ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.\n\nCollaboration: Proven track record of working effectively within collaborative, cross-functional team environments.\n\nNice to Have(s)\nIn-depth knowledge of the financial services industry, with specific experience in post-trade services.\n\nDirect domain experience in collateral management services.\n\nSalary Range: $90K/year - $120K/year CAD.
