Being able to build and maintain positive relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders is key to support platform adoption and deliver on the technology roadmap. This position involves interaction at all levels within the organization, from business end users to high level management, meaning exceptional communication skills are a must for this role. Given the specialist nature of the applications, the stakeholders and subject matter expertise required, this role also requires a candidate who is comfortable working in high pressure environments.Requirements, Design, and Implementation - Workday\nLead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for Workday enhancements across HR, Finance, Procurement, and Projects.\n\nConduct interviews and analysis sessions to understand current business processes and future needs.\n\nTranslate documented requirements and described business rules/processes into clear actionable functional specifications documents and configure Workday modules to meet those specifications, ensuring traceability from requirements to deliverables\n\nCollaborate with technical teams on solution design, configuration, and integration development.\n\nAct as the functional subject matter expert (SME) during the design, development, and implementation phases of new Workday capabilities.\n\nSupport the teams that perform design, configuration, and maintenance for Workday modules.\n\nHelp identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for integrating the Workday application with external systems.\n\nFacilitate complex issue discussion meetings and resolve ambiguity.\n\nContribute to successful project completion by identifying risks and recommending mitigating strategies.\n\nCollaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Legal, and Information Security teams to validate solutions from an architecture, data privacy, legal contract, and cybersecurity perspective.\n\nProvide leadership in process improvement initiatives and enhance system and support documentation.\n\nLeverage AI capabilities to support future business initiatives.\n\nCollaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.\n\nMake recommendations on process improvements and system enhancements to optimize performance and efficiency\n\nLead and drive change management activities for Workday solutions implemented via this process\n\nTesting, Quality Assurance, and Support\nDevelop detailed test scripts and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions to ensure delivered solutions meet requirements and stakeholder expectations.\n\nManage and prioritize defects and enhancements identified during testing.\n\nDevelop and execute comprehensive change management plans for new solutions to ensure successful end-user adoption.\n\nCreate training materials and support documentation for end-users and administrators.\n\nAct as an ambassador to promote and educate the enterprise on the new Workday functionality.\n\nSkills and Experience:\n Must Have(s)\nProven experience as a Business Analyst in a Workday environment.\n\nDemonstrable functional knowledge and experience with a combination of Workday HCM, Financial Management, Procurement, and Projects. Minimum 5 years of experience performing requirements analysis with various functional areas of business and mapping requirements to HRIS and Finance ERP capabilities .Experience with leading joint analysis and design sessions to elicit outcome based use cases and user stories that deliver results. Ability to apply critical thinking to problems and identify alternative solutions with pros and cons and present to business and Technology stakeholders\n\nBusiness Analysis experience with a demonstrated ability to gather and define requirements.\n\nAbility to lead and work closely with teams outside of technology areas, such as Finance and HR.\n\nDemonstrated experience with waterfall and Agile-based project methodologies.\n\nExceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.\n\nStrong ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.\n\nUniversity degree in technology related field or business.\n\nNice to Have(s)\nAI Automation\n\nMS Office/ Google Suite expertise\n\nTesting Experience with usage of automated tools\n\nSalary Range: 90K/year - 115K/year CAD.
