view.\nParticipating in improving\nthe effectiveness and efficiency of the software development operations.\nDuties\nCreating high level design\nfor software solutions during the bidding process based on the available\nbusiness requirements.\nSizing software development\nprojects and estimating the effort required to deliver high quality software\nsolutions.\nParticipate in defining the\nproject scope, creating high level design diagrams and defining project\nimplementation timeline during the bidding phase.\nBreaking down the overall\nsoftware system into components with clearly defined functions and integration\ninterfaces, whenever required.\nCreating detailed design\nand producing high quality accurate and complete design documentation during\nproject delivery.\nBreaking down software\ndevelopment projects into well defined tasks and activities, with clear\ndependencies.\nOverseeing release planning\nactivities (backlog estimation, etc…)\nGuiding and coaching junior\nand mid-level developers both on and off projects.\nReviewing and approving\neffort estimations during sprint planning.\nWorking closely with a\nmultidisciplinary team (Developers, DevOps, QA engineers, Product Owners)\nthroughout the software development project's life cycle.\nDeveloping software\ncomponents and modules, especially those of higher complexity of criticality.\nPerforming unit testing on\ndeveloped modules and components.\nReviewing code and\nartifacts developed by peers and other team members and creating peer review\nanalysis reports.\nDeciding when to conduct\napplication penetration testing and engaging application penetration testing\nteams when required.\nReviewing source code\nbaseline after every sprint.\nParticipate in roll-out\nplanning\nEvaluating the performance\nof junior and mid-level software development project team members.\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications:\nKnowledge:\nExcellent knowledge of\nsoftware sizing and effort estimation methodologies.\nExcellent knowledge of\nHTML, CSS and JavaScript.\nExcellent knowledge of\nback-end development using Node.js and Python\nExcellent knowledge of\nrelational and non-relational database systems\nGood knowledge of Front-end\nJavaScript frameworks such as React\nGood knowledge of\ninformation security and secure programming practices.\nGood knowledge of messaging\nqueues applications (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc...)\nSkills\nExcellent software design\nskill\nExcellent ability to\ndevelop modular, well-organized, secure, high quality clean code.\nExcellent problem solving\nskills\nVery good leadership\nskills.\nExcellent verbal and\nwritten communication skills\nExperience\n10+ years\nexperience as a Full Stack Developer or a related field.\n10+ years experience in developing Python and Node.js backend applications\n10+ years\nexperience in designing database systems using MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB.\nSolid experience working\nwith Containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc..)\nExperience with Front End\ndevelopment using JavaScript, Typescript, React.\nExperience in using agile\ndevelopment methodologies and practices in software development (e.g.\nContinuous Integration, Refactoring)\nExperience working within a\nScrum team\nExperience working with\nAtlassian toolset (Jira, confluence, etc...) is a plus\nOther Qualifications\nBachelor's degree of Computer Science,\ncomputer engineering or an equivalent degree.\nA track record of\ndelivering software to agreed quality and
