Candidates must also have a clear understanding of basic DIY, be able to follow instructions to a high standard, and be committed to health and safety procedures.\nImportant - Please Read Carefully\nThis is a hands-on manual role requiring experience in an operational, caretaking, grounds, estates, facilities or maintenance environment.\nYou must be comfortable using handheld plant and outdoor equipment, carrying out basic DIY tasks, and working to health and safety procedures.\nA full driving licence is desirable.\nKey Responsibilities\nCarry out district caretaking duties across the local area\n\nUse handheld plant and equipment safely\n\nOperate weed sprayers, strimmers, hedge trimmers, blowers and jet washes\n\nCarry out basic DIY and minor maintenance tasks\n\nMaintain communal areas, external spaces and estate environments\n\nComplete manual operational tasks as directed\n\nWork as part of the District Caretaking / Facilities Services team\n\nEnsure work is completed to a high standard\n\nFollow health and safety policies and procedures\n\nReport defects, hazards or issues as required\n\nSupport the delivery of a clean, safe and well-maintained local environment\n\nEssential Experience & Skills\nExperience working in a manual operational service\n\nExperience using handheld plant, tools or outdoor equipment\n\nClear understanding of basic
