involve carrying out general labouring and cleaning duties within empty properties, supporting void works, clearing properties, removing waste or unwanted items, and assisting with general building labour tasks.\nThis is a hands-on role suited to someone reliable, practical and comfortable working in empty properties as part of a building maintenance or voids team.\nImportant - Please Read Carefully\nThis role involves void property cleaning, property clearance and general building labouring.\nYou must be comfortable clearing empty properties, carrying out cleaning duties, supporting basic building maintenance work and working as part of a manual operational team.\nCandidates who are not comfortable with physical labour, cleaning and property clearance duties are unlikely to be suitable.\nKey Responsibilities\nCarry out general labouring duties within empty properties\nClean and clear void properties\nRemove waste, unwanted items and general debris\nSupport the Building Maintenance Voids Team\nAssist trades or maintenance staff where required\nCarry out basic manual handling duties\nKeep work areas clean, tidy and safe\nFollow instructions from supervisors and team members\nWork safely in empty properties and building maintenance environments\nReport hazards, defects or issues as required\nFollow health and safety procedures at all times\nSupport general building labour tasks as needed\nEssential Experience & Skills\nExperience in general labouring, cleaning, property clearance, voids, building maintenance or similar manual work\nComfortable carrying out physical work\nAble to clean and clear empty properties\nAble to work safely in building maintenance environments\nGood reliability and timekeeping\nAbility to follow instructions\nGood practical/manual work ethic\nAble to work as part of a team\nHealth and safety awareness\nWillingness to undertake varied duties as required\nDesirable\nPrevious void property experience\nPrevious local authority or housing maintenance experience\nManual handling experience\nExperience supporting trades or building maintenance teams\nExperience working in empty residential
