The Financial Analyst plays a key role in budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting, and data analysis while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial information.\nResponsibilities\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nThis position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities but may support or mentor junior team members and collaborate on cross-functional initiatives.\nDuties/Responsibilities:\nDevelop, maintain, and enhance financial and operational reports and dashboards (Excel, Power BI)\nCreate data visualizations and dashboards to clearly communicate financial insights and performance trends\nPartner with cross-functional teams to analyze trends and identify opportunities\nPerform monthly variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast)\nSupport budgeting and forecasting cycles\nAnalyze KPIs to improve operational efficiency\nProvide regular reporting to support business operations\nIdentify data discrepancies and recommend improvements\nSupport audit processes with accurate reporting\nServe as a point of contact for ad hoc analysis\nTranslate complex data into actionable insights\nCollaborate to improve reporting and data governance\nContinuously improve reporting processes\nQualifications\nRequired Skills and Abilities:\nAdvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, power query)\nExperience with Power BI or similar tools\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nStrong communication skills\nAbility to manage multiple priorities\nAttention to detail and accuracy\nUnderstanding of financial statements\nEducation and Experience:\nRequired:\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or related field\nPreferred:\n1-3 years of financial analysis experience\nExperience with Power BI or DAX\nExperience with budgeting and forecasting \nFlagger Force is an industry leader in traffic control.
