This role partners closely with Finance, Operations, and Business Development teams to provide actionable insights into business performance, identify trends, and improve forecasting accuracy.\nThe Senior FP&A Analyst plays a key role in budgeting cycles, M&A due diligence, monthly reporting, variance analysis, and development of financial models and dashboards that support leadership decision-making.\nResponsibilities\nFinancial Planning & Forecasting\nSupport and lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes\nMaintain and update monthly and rolling forecasts, incorporating business drivers and changes in performance\nPerform variance analysis (actual vs. forecast) and explain key drivers\nAssist in long-range financial planning and scenario modeling\nReporting & Analytics\nDevelop, maintain, and enhance financial and operational reports using Excel and Power BI\nBuild dashboards and visualizations to communicate key performance trends and KPIs\nTranslate complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights\nEnsure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of executive and board-level recurring reporting packages\nBusiness Partnership\nSupport M&A due diligence efforts for geographical growth\nPartner with cross-functional teams to analyze business performance and identify opportunities for improvement\nSupport analysis of sales performance, pricing, and trade/promotional activity\nProvide ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic and operational decisions\nCollaborate with Finance and other stakeholders to ensure alignment in reporting and assumptions\nData & Process Improvement\nIdentify and resolve data discrepancies and improve data quality and reporting processes\nSupport enhancements to financial systems, reporting tools, and data governance practices\nImprove efficiency of forecasting and reporting processes through automation and standardization\nAssist in audit support and ensure financial data integrity\nQualifications\nRequired Skills & Abilities:\nAdvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, Power Query)\nExperience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools\nStrong financial modeling and analytical skills\nAbility to interpret financial statements and business drivers\nStrong communication skills, including ability to present insights clearly\nHigh attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities\nStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skills\nEducation & Experience:\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Analytics, or related field\n2-5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, or Financial Analytics\nPreferred\nExperience with budgeting and forecasting processes\nExperience with Power BI (or DAX), Tableau, or similar tools\nExperience with M&A due diligence\nExperience working with large data sets and KPI reporting\nWork Environment\nPrimarily office-based, sedentary work environment\nFrequent use of computer systems and collaboration tools\nOccasional light lifting (up to 25 lbs)\nMinimal travel required\nFlagger Force is an industry leader in traffic control.
