Our kitchen is more than just a space for meals; it's a hub for collaboration, mentorship, and personal growth.Job Description\nBenefits/Perks:\nNo Weekends\n\nMonday to Friday: 6:00am - 2:30pm\n\nSnacks and meals provided during shifts\n\nMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance\n\n13 paid holidays\n\n401K with match\n\nVacation and Sick days\n\nResponsibilities\nBeverages: Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks, such as coffee, tea, and specialty beverages\nOrders: Taking orders and customizing them as requested\nCustomer service: Providing feedback to management and connecting with customers\nCleanliness: Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, dishes, and work areas\nInventory: Maintaining inventory and managing storage and supplies\nHealth and safety: Adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines\nRequirements\nHS Diploma or GED equivalent required\n1 or more years experience creating common coffee beverages as well as highly specialized drink orders\nExcellent listening and communication skills to effectively interact with coworkers and customers\nBasic coffee knowledge, such as how to prepare common coffee beverages, although advanced knowledge, such as roasting and grinding processes, coffee bean sourcing and flavor differences, can be helpful\nExceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to interact in a positive manner and prevent or resolve conflicts\nStrong teamwork abilities to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with other Baristas\nAttention to detail to manage specific customer requests as well as a high-volume beverage assembly line with minimal errors\nTime management and organizational skills to work efficiently and effectively in a high-volume workplace\nWork Environment\nThe work environment includes the following large kitchen environment elements and exposures.\nFast paced kitchen.\nHigh sense of urgency.\nModerate to high noise level.\nExposure to soap and cleaning solutions.\nSlippery/uneven surfaces may be encountered.\nFrequently moving from cold freezer to normal kitchen environment.\nOccasional smoke, steam, and heat in a confined space.\nHot/cold environments when moving thins in and out of the fridge and freezer. \nRequirements\nMust have and maintain an active Handlers’ Card (ServSafe) and adhere to local food handler requirement. \nMaintain an exceptional personal record of punctuality and attendance. \nConsistently perform all duties in a responsible and efficient manner. \nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nConstant use of hands while moving and using food carts, cooking equipment, etc.\nConstant use of hands while prepping and cooking food.\nConstant repetitive hand motion while grasping food, cooking and utilizing equipment.\nOccasional repetitive hand motion when pushing/pulling food racks, carts, etc.\nConstant Lifting and carrying items weighing up to 20 lbs. Occasional lifting and carrying items frequently weighing between 21lbs - 40 lbs.
