Typical assignments are focused on customer service, package receipt, and on-site delivery tasks. This energetic and detail-oriented person will be part of a larger biotech services company, providing fast-paced inbound and shipping needs for multiple tenants via the operation of a centralized Shipping & Receiving area.\nThis role is for a Full-Time (40 hour/week), Non-Exempt, Hourly S&R position.\nJob Description\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nWe are seeking a candidate to perform general facilities duties which primarily include, but are not limited to:\nReceiving packages, entering into Shipping & Receiving tracking database and delivering to site tenants in a professional manner \nProcessing pre-packaged outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, completeness, promptness, accountability, and condition of shipments meet established standards \nUtilizing company routines and materials management technologies to ensure goods security \nActing as an on-site Point-of-Contact for end users regarding Shipping & Receiving support \nEscorting delivery personnel and special equipment when necessary \nSafely utilizing pallet jacks, delivery carts, and forklifts, and other S&R equipment\nFollowing site-specific SOPs, work procedures, and Shipping & Receiving programs \nUnder the supervision of the S&R Supervisor, maintaining shipping and receiving equipment \nTraveling between client locations as necessary \nEnsuring work areas are clean, organized, and safe \nPerforming additional support-level and in-scope S&R tasks as necessary \nThis position reports to: Shipping & Receiving Manager \nThis position has no direct reports\nMinimum Training, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and/or Qualifications\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
