Our values are: Inclusion, Caring, Customer Focused, Accountability, Safety, and Integrity.\nSummary/Objective\nAs a representative for our company, you will be performing non-technical general building maintenance and minor repairs.\nEssential Functions*\nPerforms general building maintenance under close supervision.\nPerforms grounds, maintenance, and minor repair work.\nPerforms general labor work as assigned by the engineer, including loading, uploading, and moving materials and running errands for the project. Replaces light bulbs/lamps and clean fixtures.\nResponds quickly to emergency situations and customer concerns.\nComplies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives as related to building operations and practice safe work habits.\nMust maintain a neat appearance.\nContinuously seeks opportunities to improve the customer experience.\nFollows safety and sanitation procedures with all guidelines from OSHA, Department of Public Health and Risk Management.\nOther duties as assigned.\n*NOTE: Essential functions, as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following tasks which are illustrative ONLY, and is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and tasks performed or assigned by this position.\nKnowledge and Skills\nAble to communicate with the team.\nSense of urgency.\nCustomer service.\nKnowledge of commercial facilities maintenance.\nKnowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in maintenance work.\nExcellent interpersonal skills.\nAbility to communicate effectively.\nMay be only maintenance staff member on duty during certain shifts; may be required to work extended periods of time without relief when responding to priority/emergency situations (including overtime type assignments); may require shift work and/or on call duties.\nEducation and Work Experience\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent.\n1-2 years of experience in commercial facilities and building maintenance.\nWork Environment\nThe work environment includes the following elements and exposures:\nSmall-to-large work environment.\nSafety glasses required while performing certain tasks.\nFast paced work environment.\nThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.\nExposed to a combination of normal office type environments and shop environments.\nRegularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, and noise.\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nConstant use of hand when handling and fingering hand and power tools and, when handling small items such as screws, bolts, etc.\nOccasional keying, typing, and writing.\nConstant grasping, pushing, pulling, and rotating body.\nConstant reaching across, above, and outward in work area to fix equipment.\nFrequent pushing and pulling objects weighing over 40 lbs.\nItems weighing over 40 lbs. must be push/pull by two people or with appropriate machinery.\nGood or correctable vision is required to safely perform all duties.\nOccasional standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, crawling, balancing and beck usage-flexing.\nOther Duties\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
