This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and safety of our client facility floors, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment.Benefits:\nCompetitive hourly wage.\nHealth, dental, and vision insurance.\nPaid time off and holiday pay.\n• Opportunities for advancement and ongoing training.\nJob Description\nKey Responsibilities:\nPerform daily cleaning and maintenance of floors, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, buffing, and waxing.\nOperate and maintain specialized floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, extractors, and burnishers.\nRespond promptly to spills and other floor-related maintenance needs to ensure safety and prevent accidents.\nApply appropriate floor finishes and treatments according to established procedures.\nConduct routine inspections to identify areas needing additional care or repairs.\nDispose of waste materials and follow proper cleaning protocols.\nAssist with carpet cleaning, spot treatments, and stain removal as necessary.\nFollow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, to prevent damage to floors and other objects.\nEnsure compliance with all safety and security policies.\nWork collaboratively with custodial and maintenance teams to maintain high cleanliness standards.\nReport any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors.\nOther duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements:\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred.\n6 or more months experience as a floor technician or in janitorial services is required.\nKnowledge of floor care equipment, chemicals, and safety procedures.\nAbility to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.\nCompletion of significant safety training is required.
