From refreshing tired spaces to tackling repairs, your work will make a real difference every day.\nYou’ll be out and about, working across properties, delivering a high-quality service and ensuring every finish meets our standards-first time.\nWorking hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Thursday: 08:00-17:00, Friday: 08:00-14:30\nWHAT YOU'LL BE DOING\nCarrying out a wide range of painting and decorating repairs and maintenance\n\nPreparing surfaces including sanding, filling, priming, and finishing\n\nCompleting glossing and full property decoration\n\nCleaning and treating damp and mould\n\nSupporting with void clearances and flood repairs\n\nWorking alongside other trades when needed\n\nIdentifying issues such as asbestos and arranging appropriate action\n\nUsing schedules of rates to estimate jobs and manage workloads efficiently\n\nDelivering excellent customer service to residents\n\nWHAT YOU'LL BRING\nA Full Trade Apprenticeship / NVQ Level 2 in painting & decorating (or equivalent experience)\n\nStrong practical skills and a keen eye for detail\n\nAbility to assess work requirements and plan tasks effectively\n\nGreat customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills\n\nConfidence using digital tools (e.g., Outlook, Teams, scheduling systems)\n\nA full UK driving licence\n\nWillingness to join an out-of-hours on-call rota\n\nFor further information on the role and its responsibilities, please click here to view the Painter - The Part I Play document.\nWHAT WE OFFER\nA structured working week with early Friday finish\n\nA company vehicle and tools provided\n\nThe chance to work as part of a supportive, skilled team\n\nA role where your craftsmanship genuinely improves people’s homes and lives\n\nFor our full benefit package, click here.\nBecause you won’t just be decorating houses-you’ll be helping create places people are proud to call home.
