Compliance and audit\nOwn overall compliance posture for backend systems, ensuring full adherence to FFIEC guidelines, audit requirements, and IT risk management policies.\nCoordinate with internal audit, risk, and compliance teams to deliver accurate evidence and remediation plans.\nDrive continuous improvement of compliance processes to reduce audit findings and enhance security posture.\nManage Systems, Configurations, and System Stability\nTechnical engineer overseeing backend system administration for hypervisors, NAS, Microsoft systems, certificate management, databases, and Linux operating systems.\nSet patching and upgrade schedules for the team, ensuring all systems remain current and out of EOL status.\nApprove and review Ansible automation workflows, backup/restore processes (Commvault, RMAN), and configuration baselines.\nProvide final oversight on high-risk platform upgrades and migrations.\nServiceNow Administration and Platform Management\nServe as the primary ServiceNow Administrator, managing platform configurations, upgrades, and overall instance health.\nDesign, develop, and maintain workflows, forms, business rules, UI policies, and scripted components (Script Includes, Flow Designer) to support ITSM processes.\nAdminister and optimize core ServiceNow modules including Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Service Catalog, and CMDB.\nManage user roles, access controls, and group configurations to ensure proper governance and security within the platform.\nCoordinate and execute ServiceNow version upgrades, patches, and plugin activations while minimizing service disruption.\nIntegrate ServiceNow with third-party tools and internal systems to streamline service delivery and operational workflows.\nMonitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to ensure high availability and reliability.\nSupport the Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) modules to manage full asset lifecycles, license compliance, software entitlements, and reconciliation, while maintaining accurate CMDB asset records and delivering visibility through reports and dashboards.\nSupport the Enterprise Architecture (EA) module by maintaining application and technology portfolios, collaborating with architects and stakeholders on roadmaps and technology decisions, and ensuring EA data remains aligned with CMDB and ITAM for a unified view of the technology environment.\nOwn and maintain the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and integrity of Configuration Items (CIs) across all supported infrastructure and application domains.\nEstablish and enforce CMDB governance policies, including CI naming conventions, relationship mapping standards, and data quality thresholds.\nUtilize Discovery and Service Mapping to automate CI population and maintain up-to-date visibility into the technology environment.\nPerform regular CMDB audits and reconciliation to identify and remediate stale, duplicate, or misconfigured CIs.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure CMDB data supports downstream processes such as Change Management, Incident Management, and Asset Management.\nCompliance and Audit\nOwn overall compliance posture for backend systems, ensuring full adherence to FFIEC guidelines, audit requirements, and IT risk management policies.\nCoordinate with internal audit, risk, and compliance teams to deliver accurate evidence and remediation plans.\nDrive continuous improvement of compliance processes to reduce audit findings and enhance security posture.\nLeverage ServiceNow GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) capabilities to track audit findings, manage risk items, and maintain compliance documentation.\nDaily requests, new builds, cross-team collaboration\nEnsures workload metrics for operational requests, system builds, migrations, and decommissions are met.\nAct as escalation point for major incidents and coordinate with leadership during crisis events.\nDelivers and collaborates with architecture, application, and infrastructure teams to ensure technology decisions align with enterprise goals.\nChampion disaster recovery planning, test execution, and after-action review improvements. Documentation and Reporting\nEnsure all backend system documentation is accurate, current, and meets audit standards.\nReview and approve daily/weekly/monthly operational and compliance reports before submission to leadership.\nPromote documentation as a core operational discipline across the team, setting expectations and accountability for quality.\nReport team performance metrics and operational health to IT leadership.\nBusiness and Technology Alignment\nEnsure we are aligning IT solutions with the needs of the business\nADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES\nPerforms special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.\nConsistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings.
