You'll structure and maintain our financial accounts, manage the admin flow for onboarding new clients, and help lay the groundwork for a still-new function inside the company. It's a hands-on way to learn how finance operates inside a fast-growing fintech, with real ownership from day one.\nWhat you'll do\nHere's what you can expect to work on:\nKeep our financial accounts accurate and up to date in Holded (or Odoo) on a daily basis.\n\nOwn the admin dealflow for onboarding new clients, making sure everything is set up correctly.\n\nProcess provider payments accurately and on time.\n\nContribute to monthly financial reporting for clients and investors.\n\nPartner with senior Finance team members to keep our financial processes running smoothly.\n\nSpot and propose improvements to how we handle bookkeeping.\n\nWhat we'd love to see\nA degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.\n\nStrong organizational skills and a sharp eye for detail.\n\nA proactive, eager-to-learn attitude - you're comfortable building structure where none exists yet.\n\nNice to have: previous experience in bookkeeping or a similar admin role, though it's not a requirement.\n\nLanguage Proficiency: Fluent English and fluent/native Spanish to collaborate effectively in our bilingual environment .\n\nIf this sounds like you, don't worry if you don't check every single box-we'll support your growth along the way.\nWhat we offer\nA hands-on internship with a competitive stipend.\n\nA cool office between Sants Estació and Plaça Espanya with stunning views of Barcelona.\n\nFlexible working hours and hybrid work options.\n\nPaid day off on your birthday.\n\nWeekly fresh fruit, coffee, and tea on tap.\n\nFriday happy hours after our all-hands meetings (totally optional, of course!).\n\nTeam-building events to bond and have fun.\n\nKombo, our digital canteen, subsidised at 50%.\n\nThe hiring process\nSend us your CV, cover letter, etc.\n\nYou'll have a chat with our People Business Partner, Nicolás Guilarte.\n\nA meeting with our Head of Finance, Arnau Ros.\n\nA technical discussion meeting with some of Flanks' team members.\n\nAny extra meetings you (or we) might need to iron out any questions.\n\nWe send you an offer!\n\nWe aim to keep things moving fast-ideally wrapping things up in one to four weeks.\nIf this sounds like a good fit for you, we'd love to hear from you.
