We unify the core functionalities of cyber threat intelligence and external attack surface management into a single, intuitive platform.\nTL;DR: We are a bunch of nerds who help protect our clients’ data (and people in their network) by locating cyber risks.\nYour purpose and impact:\nPartner with the sales team to articulate the value of the Flare platform to prospective customers\nUnderstand customer requirements, field technical questions, and demonstrate platform capabilities by finding a prospects exposures\nDevelop use-cases, technical demos, and manage Proof of Concepts (POCs) end-to-end\nBuild strong relationships with technical stakeholders in customer organizations\nDeliver threat briefings to sector ISACs (FS-ISAC, H-ISAC, RH-ISAC), connecting active cybercrime campaigns to the exposure member organizations actually face\nAct as the analyst in the middle for enterprise customers and prospects, interpreting Flare findings in real time: leaked credentials, exposed infrastructure, threat actor mentions, and infostealer infections tied to their environment\nTrain sales team members on the technical aspects of Flare’s platform\nAct as a technical consultant across Flare, supporting product, marketing, and other initiatives\nCollaborate with the Threat Intelligence Research team, feeding field observations back into research and product, and contributing findings to external content where appropriate\nStay current on the CTI and cybercrime ecosystem (stealer logs, phishing kits, ransomware and extortion groups, initial access brokers, credential and data markets, dark web and Telegram) and keep that knowledge mapped to customer risk\nRepresent Flare at events, speaking engagements, and webinars; contribute to content like tutorials and videos\nBilingual (English/German) to be able to work in the DACH region\nFlexibility to travel as needed\nYou’ll be a perfect fit if:\nYou bring relevant pre- and/or post-sales experience from a cybersecurity vendor in the threat intelligence space, or relevant client support experience in a cybersecurity services role\nYou have hands-on familiarity with the cybercrime ecosystem: stealer logs, phishing kits, underground forums and markets, Telegram, and the actors and infrastructure behind them\nYou are able to write simple automations in Python or Go\nYou’re comfortable as the primary technical contact during the sales process - leading demos, owning POCs, and resolving blockers\nYou have a keen attention to detail and pride yourself on thorough, accurate documentation\nYou consistently keep stakeholders updated - no one ever has to chase you\nYou have cybersecurity, OSINT, or threat intelligence expertise in areas such as:Cybercrime, e-crime, or darkweb investigations\nIncident Response\nPenetration testing or Red Teaming\nThreat Hunting & Research\n\nYou’re comfortable delivering threat briefings to community or ISAC audiences, not just customer demos\nYou can confidently engage with both technical and non-technical audiences - from analysts to executives\nYou’re comfortable with structured processes but also thrive in the ambiguity of a startup (“building the plane as it’s flying”)\nYou lead with curiosity and empathy, and genuinely care about clients and colleagues\nYou value feedback, embrace radical candor, and are motivated to continually improve\nIt’s even better if you have:\nExperience building or refining pre-sales and technical sales processes\nAbility to create technical enablement content (talk tracks, demo scripts, objection guides)\nExisting relationships in sector ISACs or security working groups\nA public research footprint: published research, conference presentations (DEF CON, BSides, Shmoocon, etc.), or media citations\nHistory of working closely with product, marketing, or customer success to bring customer insights into strategy\nExperience at an early-stage startup and a knack for balancing speed with quality\nWillingness to pitch in outside your role when it helps the team succeed\nWhat it’s like to be part of Flare:\nYou will find a people-first company where work-life balance is valued.
