It's about giving Flashpackers the feeling that they've just walked into a hotel lobby, that\n\nthe adventure starts the second they hit the website\n\n, not just when they step off the plane.\nYou'll\n\nwork closely with our Co-founder, Head of Product and Engineering team\n\nto take ideas from early thinking through to launch and iteration.\nYou'll own the end to end design process, helping us solve meaningful customer problems while raising the quality bar across everything we ship. You'll work within our established brand rather than own it, collaborating closely with colleagues who own imagery and visual craft to create product experiences that feel beautifully executed, premium in every detail, and unmistakably Flash Pack.\nThis is a hands-on individual contributor role and\n\na rare opportunity to be the only Product Designer in the business\n\n. That means you'll have genuine influence over the product experience without needing to manage people or build a design function.\nWe're looking for someone who loves doing the work, simplifying flows like checkout, refining interactions, moving with purposeful momentum and bringing conviction to design decisions. You'll use research, customer insight and data to inform your decisions, but never at the expense of judgement.\nWe want someone with exceptional UX, strong instincts for flows, interaction and structure, and a sharp visual eye. Someone who has shipped consumer products people call beautiful and can explain why they work, who knows when a screen feels like Flash Pack and when it feels like a booking engine, and who believes great design is often what customers remember long after they've forgotten the feature itself.\nIn line with our salary framework,\n\nthe salary for this role is £83,000-£89,500 depending on experience\n\n. This is a remote-flexible role. In practice,\n\nwe come together as a team in London every 6-8 weeks\n\n, with the rest of the time spent working remotely from within the UK.\n\nWhere you will spend your time:\n\nOwning end to end design for key initiatives, starting with checkout, trip pages, and presenting new premium stays well\n\nMaking checkout simpler and faster, and raising the bar on interaction quality and conversion\n\nPartnering closely with Product, Engineering, Data and Marketing to shape solutions\n\nUsing quantitative data and qualitative insight to inform design decisions\n\nRapidly iterating in ambiguous, fast moving environments\n\nChallenging product direction constructively and proposing better alternatives\n\nTaking initiative to identify problems worth solving, not just responding to briefs\n\nWhat we’d love to see from you:\n\nYou'll bring a portfolio that demonstrates outstanding craft, not just well documented processes. We'd love to see examples of work you're most proud of, including at least one product you'd call beautiful. We want to understand what you changed, why you made those decisions, and how your design improved the feel of the experience as well as the outcome.\nYou'll be a collaborative team member and know that design doesn't happen in a bubble\n\nYou will have strong hands on product design experience in a startup or scale up environment\n\nExceptional UX, with real depth in flows, interaction and structure\n\nA strong visual eye. You've shipped consumer products people describe as beautiful and can explain why they work, though art direction or a classic brand design background isn't required here\n\nAn instinct for emotional flair, so you know when a screen feels like Flash Pack and when it feels like a booking engine\n\nA clear point of view and the confidence to advocate for better experiences, even when they're harder to achieve\n\nSignificant hands on experience shipping consumer digital products in fast moving, high growth environments, comfortable owning problems from discovery through to delivery\n\nSome experience with app design is a plus. We're likely to build an app in 2027, though this isn't a pure app role as checkout and web work stay central\n\nA strong bias toward action and momentum over perfection. You are happy to fail and learn, and happy operating in ambiguity\n\nNaturally curious about AI and already using it thoughtfully to improve your design practice, speed up exploration and increase your impact\n\nWe're after the right person and if you don't quite hit all the criteria, we'd still encourage you to apply.
