This team of specialized engineers has extensive experience in designing and constructing various temporary works.\nClick here to find out what drew Isabel to the Construction Engineering group.\nApply now and transform your career with us.\nWhat you will be doing\nManage a team of temporary works engineers; assigning, organizing and tracking work, ensuring deliverables are met and to the exact specifications required.\nProvides constructability and technical design input on temporary works construction designs to ensure compliance with contract specifications and regulatory requirements. \nDesigns and drafts construction methods for temporary works (falsework, shoring, temporary bridges, formwork, slopes, etc.), ensuring completeness and accuracy with regulatory standards and within the contract specifications. \nReviews personal and peer design elements to optimize project constructability, cost effectiveness and material quantities. \nConducts forensic analysis for post-construction items to support claims mitigation and dispute resolutions. \nSubmits design for peer review or approval review in an accurate and timely manner to avoid construction delays on the project site. Seals personal and team designs following approval review. \nCompletes on-site project oversight of temporary works construction designs to ensure compliance to plans and provide support for project engineering. \nConducts forensic analysis for post-construction items to support claims mitigation and dispute resolutions.\nPrepare and supervise the preparation of written reports and submittals for temporary works designs.\nWhat we are looking for\nBachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural or related Engineering field required; Master's Degree is an asset\nProfessional Engineering License (PE/PENG) required. \n10+ years of experience in temporary works design and construction practices, with proven knowledge of constructability innovation techniques. \nDemonstrated success with creative, innovative and optimization strategies for construction challenges.\nStrong verbal, technical writing, and presentation skills;
