This landmark infrastructure project includes the design, construction, long-term operation, and maintenance of the corridor for 50 years, transforming a critical route and supporting mobility in one of the nation’s fastest-growing regions.\nApply now and transform your career with us.\nWhat you will be doing\nMeets daily with project crews to review production schedule and confirm all materials, equipment and resources are readily available for production to continue on schedule and within budget.\nSupport the construction, installation, testing, and integration of ITS, traffic signal, and overhead signing systems on a large-scale roadway infrastructure project.\nSupport the installation and construction of overhead sign structures, including coordination of field activities, subcontractors, materials, and installation requirements.\nAssist with ITS and traffic signal construction, testing, integration, and troubleshooting, including coordination of electrical components and roadway systems.\nWork closely with the project team during high-volume construction periods, maintaining a strong field presence and supporting the project through critical phases of construction.\nUtilize tools such as MicroStation, Excel, and Primavera P6 to review drawings, track project information, and understand construction sequencing and schedules.\nCollects, coordinates and analysis shop drawings, design specifications, material requirements and project data through the duration of the project to ensure quality and contract specification compliance. \nProvides technical input for project work plan and scheduling. Identifying risk elements of production, materials, equipment or process that could negatively impact the budget or schedule. \nEvaluates daily production, schedule and budget projections to accurately track project performance. Documents daily activities in Company approved methods and technologies. \nRemits accurate project quantity input and controls using assigned project cost coding to ensure project financials are accurately reported. Manages cost coding with Company finance and accounting teams regarding employee time, materials, equipment and subcontractor needs.\nReviews and approves daily timecards for all Company construction crews. Works with Office Manager, payroll and job construction supervisors to resolve timecard inquiries, as needed. \nReviews project specifications for quality assurance at the beginning of work, during the project work and after work completes. Initiates and manages appropriate certificates, inspections and other documentation regarding construction production on the project site. \nWorks with construction crews and engineering leaders to plan field layout on the project site, ensuring appropriate utility and commercial lines are marked before production begins. Initiates and manages any permits needed before work can begin. \nAssists the development of design drawings and provides technical input, as needed. \nCoordinates subcontractor work methods, schedule and crews as needed. \nWhat we are looking for\nBachelor's Degree in a related field required. \n1+ years of construction engineering experience required, preferably in roadway, transportation, ITS, traffic signals, or related infrastructure.\nDemonstrated understanding of the construction process from design through field installation; candidates should be comfortable working beyond a purely design-focused role.\nField experience with ITS, traffic signals, overhead signing/sign structures, electrical systems, or related roadway infrastructure, highly preferred.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, construction documents, and project schedules.\nStrong understanding of construction sequencing, phasing, temporary works, and schedule coordination.\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel;
