This will be accomplished through coordinated interactions with our business subject matter experts.\nApply now and transform your career with us.\nWhat you will be doing\nLearning Program Strategy, Planning and Delivery\nOwn operations and technical learning programs from concept through delivery and evaluation. Ensure programs connect to broader company strategy, operational priorities, and talent needs.\nIdentify learning priorities based on business needs, operational challenges, workforce capability gaps, and company initiatives.\nLead project teams to ensure the effective development and delivery of learning, events, experiences and programs. Work with program managers in the development and management of detailed project plans for each learning program or event.\nTranslate business needs into clear program objectives, learning outcomes, agendas, and content priorities.\nEstablish content and presenter evaluation processes.\nEvaluate curriculum of programs and determine ways to increase the effectiveness of established and developmental training efforts. Determine the appropriate mix of topics, presenters, SMEs, activities, and learning methods.\nDevelop annual and/or rolling program calendars based on business priorities and audience needs.\nRecommend when existing programs should be refreshed, expanded, consolidated, or retired.\nOperational Learning Plans and Career Paths\nBuild, manage, and leverage positive, collaborative partnerships with subject matter experts, business leaders, and peers to translate best practices and established procedures into learning content.\nDevelop strategy to define and organize learning content into trackable competency categories. Evaluate learners' strengths and where additional mastery is Develop competency-based career paths.\nWork with L&D team members to track and monitor learning plans in company learning management system.\nChampion and drive adoption of operations learning plans and career paths across the organization by educating, engaging, and influencing leaders, employees, and HR partners on their value and benefits; build awareness and commitment to ensure learning plans are actively supported and used as a tool for employee development, career growth and retention.\nAdditional Duties\nCreate engaging learning activities and course content for in-person and online curricula, and other programs as needed.\nResearch learning industry trends, methodologies, and best practices to integrate those into professional application.\nProvide input into learning strategy and plan, including continual evaluation of the current state to inform strategy for the future.\nEvaluate and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.\nLeverage market research for learning innovations, new technologies, and benchmarks to create and deploy leading practice learning experiences.\nMaintain knowledge of Company’s values, initiatives and strategic plan.\nPerform additional assignments per management’s direction.\nWhat we are looking for\nBachelor's Degree required.\n10+ years related experience required.\nExperience working within the heavy civil construction industry required.\nExperience leading team of 3+ individuals.\nSignificant end-to-end project/program management experience in successfully conceptualizing, planning, managing, delivering, and monitoring multiple, concurrent, and complex work streams in a matrixed organization with aggressive timelines.\nThe ability to present to large groups, facilitate and/or co-facilitate existing and future professional development training sessions.\nStrong organizational skills, creative thinking skills, and curriculum planning ability.\nStrong leadership and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced, complex environment.\nDemonstrated analytics experience; ability to analyze and synthesize both quantitative and qualitative data from multiple sources to identify themes and develop compelling recommendations.\nStrong critical thinking ability to identify interdependencies between issues, data, and outcomes.\nEstablished track record for taking a consultative approach to designing and delivering innovative learning programs with measurable business results that meet stakeholder needs.\nProven ability to communicate ideas and insights in person, virtually, and in writing, succinctly and with impact, understanding what is relevant vs. what is \"noise\" to audiences at all management levels.\nStrong relationship building and stakeholder management skills, including with senior leaders.\nStrong command of MS Office skills and experience with
