Your expertise will be essential in optimizing procurement processes and driving strategic partnerships\nApply now and transform your career with us.\nWhat you will be doing\nOversees procurement activities within the district and on projects. \nNegotiates commercial terms and conditions with material vendors and subcontractors while consulting with legal department and senior management. \nManages the qualification and evaluation process for vendors of materials, subcontractors, and service providers. \nCommunicates and enforces procurement policies and procedures to the district and project teams. \nOversees the development and review of all procurement analytics, reporting and deliverables. \nManages the maintenance of records of goods ordered and received; oversees all Accounts Payable reconciliation. \nMonitors and oversees execution of the purchasing buyout. \nPrepares reports and correspondence as needed. \nFacilitate RFPs and collaborate with preconstruction team on new opportunities and current projects. \nWhat we are looking for\nBachelor's Degree in a Business, Supply Chain, Construction Management or Engineering preferred. \n5+ years’ experience in construction procurement required. \nSkilled in contract negotiations and legal terminology \nExtensive knowledge of the construction industry \nProficient in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel) with general knowledge of database utilization. JD Edwards E1 World experience is a plus. \nAbility to perform multiple tasks efficiently and accurately \nLeadership and influencing skills required.
