A Joint Venture between FlatironDragados and Herzog is set to replace the 3/4-mile-long, 117-year-old, two-track movable Susquehanna River Rail Bridge connecting Perryville and Havre de Grace.\nApply now and transform your career with us.\nClick here to find out how Adrian Price, Preconstruction Manager, grew his engineering career here.\nWhat you will be doing\nMeet with engineering and field crews to review production schedule and confirm all materials, equipment and resources.\nReview all shop drawings, design specifications, material requirements and project data.\nProvides technical input for project work plan and scheduling.\nIdentify risk elements of production, materials, equipment or process that could negatively impact the budget or schedule.\nEvaluate daily production, schedule and budget projections to accurately track project performance. \nUpdate project schedule weekly for owner and management reporting. \nPrepare and manage a three-week work plan. Notifies engineering and project management of any significant schedule changes and develops solutions to mitigate delays and cost.\nInitiate and manage all Requests for Information (RFIs).\nRemit accurate project quantities using assigned project cost coding to ensure project financials are accurately reported.\nManage invoicing with accounting team regarding materials, equipment and subcontractor needs.\nReview certificates and permits needed to perform work. \nReview required Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs) to ensure a safe and compliance work environment for all construction personnel. \nCoordinates subcontractor work methods, schedule and crews as needed.\nWhat we are looking for\nBachelor's Degree in a related field. \n7+ years construction engineering experience. \nExperience in resource monitoring techniques (i.e. cost accounting, basic estimating) and construction technology, process systems and/or structures preferred. \nSpecialized, technical knowledge of design build or other alternative build techniques. \nAble to delegate and assign work to engineering team to progress the project production forward. \nAdvanced knowledge of contract specifications and quality assurance practices. \nAble to identify budget and project costs and recommend options to mitigate project delays. \nKnowledge of financial reporting methods, quantity tracking methods and
