Collaborate with industry experts and committed teams to align project goals with owner expectations, adhering to contract specifications and upholding the highest standards.\nApply now and transform your career with us.\nWhat you will be doing\nManages all aspects of the project, from construction to budget and cash management, ensuring everything aligns with the project contract and owner requirements. \nDevelops and manages the project schedule, pay estimates, procedures, staffing needs, and equipment resources to ensure timely and accurate project completion. \nReviews initial project contracts and supporting documents for completeness, and collaborates with the owner to resolve any specification, contract conflicts, and scheduling issues. \nLeads engineering and scheduling teams to identify and negotiate proposed change orders, with support from the Area Manager as needed. \nPrepares and presents monthly cost and revenue forecasts and reports to Flatiron leadership. \nMaintains strong working relationships with Flatiron supporting departments and the project owner to support the project work plan and payment schedule. \nServes as the main point of contact for all third-party stakeholders, including landowners, local business owners, and government agencies involved in the project. \nReviews and approves all internal and external media news releases related to the project. \nEnsures project safety by conducting weekly safety checks, participating in safety meetings, and supporting both project and owner safety programs. \nApproves staffing and equipment needs to ensure efficient and effective project production. \nParticipates in the dispute resolution process with support from internal legal counsel. \nProvides input on equipment procurement methods and contracts to ensure efficient project production. \nLeads project closeout procedures, finalizes contract paperwork, obtains retainages, and works with management to resolve any project claims. Conducts project debriefs to review all aspects of project work and completion. \nWhat we are looking for\n15+ years’ experience in construction project management required. \n10 + years’ experience in managing personnel required. \nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field a plus. \nProven experience in bid-build, CMCG, design build and other alternative delivery projects required. \nValid Driver’s License\nStrong interpersonal skills proven to engage and retain positive working relationships. \nStrong proven skill to identify, track and manage project risk. \nProven ability to efficiently and effectively manage multiple departments and direct reports to retain focus on one project completion goal and timeline. \nProven ability to identify growth opportunities for project personnel and developed to coach and mentor project personnel. \nProven ability to delegate task driven responsibilities to project personnel. \nProven knowledge and ability to analyze and interpret financial documentation to identify and mitigate project risk. \nAdvanced and proven interpersonal skills with internal and external contacts. \nEffective delegation skills to drive efficient, accurate and profitable project completion. \nStrong ability to appropriately recover funds from claim and dispute resolution. \nIntermediate to advanced skills in managing multiple departments and direct reports to retain focus on one project completion goal and timeline. \nStrong, inherent ability and drive to negotiate terms of agreement for project work, budget and fund recovery in the
