This role is ideal for someone with hands-on maintenance experience in residential properties who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team that delivers high-quality living spaces.\nVisit us at flatslife.com to learn more about our community.\nRequirements\nComplete assigned maintenance work orders promptly and effectively.\nPerform maintenance tasks in vacant units to prepare them for new residents (\"apartment turns\").\nMaintain common areas of the building, including hallways, lobbies, laundry rooms, and amenities.\nConduct pool and seasonal amenity maintenance, including cleaning and basic equipment checks.\nIdentify and resolve minor plumbing and electrical issues.\nPerform light carpentry, painting, drywall repairs, and general building repairs.\nConduct routine preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.\nMaintain the property’s exterior, including trash pickup and snow removal.\nRespond to on-call, after-hours maintenance emergencies on a rotating schedule.\nMaintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring all areas meet safety standards.\nCollaborate with the Property Manager and other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.\nProvide excellent customer service to residents and guests during maintenance visits.\nValid driver's license required.\nQualifications\nProven experience in apartment or building maintenance, or a related trade.\nBasic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair.\nAbility to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nReliable, punctual, and self-motivated.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.\nMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, etc.).\nValid driver's license and reliable transportation required.\nJoin us in maintaining the integrity of our operations while ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
