This hands-on role involves preparing paper products for production, ensuring materials are accurately counted, sorted, and delivered to the press in the correct sequence. Working in a small team, you'll enjoy a high level of autonomy while playing a key role in keeping production running smoothly.\nWhat you'll be doing:\nOperating an electric forklift to move large paper pallets throughout the plant and support stock management activities.\nPreparing paper orders to match daily production schedules and sorting the paper into different orders.\nResponsible for stock control including, counting, sorting and handling paper products with a high degree of accuracy.\nAssisting with warehouse operations during peak periods and to support team requirements.\nThis is a full-time position working 42 hours per week, Monday to Thursday from 8:30am to 5:00pm and Friday on an 8-hour shift, with a paid lunch break included each day.\nWhat we’re looking for:\n2-3 years’ experience within a manufacturing/production environment.\nCurrent forklift licence and forklift experience.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\nGood counting and numerical skills.\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others.\nA strong commitment to health and safety.\nThe ability to work independently and contribute to a team environment.\nA proactive approach and willingness to support the team as needed.\nA positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.\nTo ensure your and others safety, we do require pre-employment medical testing and a criminal history clearance.
