We are seeking an experienced and respected Shop Foreman to help lead the daily performance of the service department by supporting technicians, improving shop efficiency, and helping ensure repairs are completed properly, safely, and on time.\nThis is a key leadership role for someone who combines advanced technical ability with the judgment, professionalism, and accountability needed to support both the service team and the overall business objectives of the dealership.\nBenefits\nHealth insurance\nDental insurance\nVision insurance\nPaid sick leave\nPaid vacation\n401(k)\n401(k) matching\nFlexible spending account\nProfessional development assistance\nLife insurance\nEmployee assistance plan\nDisability insurance\nWhat You Will Do\nLead the daily workflow of the shop, ensuring efficient dispatching and proper alignment of work to technician skill level.\nProvide hands-on diagnostic and technical support on complex or difficult repairs.\nMonitor repair progress and remove obstacles to keep work moving and on schedule.\nEnsure all repairs meet manufacturer standards, safety requirements, and dealership quality expectations.\nPartner with Service Advisors to support clear communication on repair status, timelines, and additional work.\nSupport technician productivity, efficiency, and overall shop performance.\nCoach, mentor, and develop technicians to improve skill level, diagnostic ability, and repair quality.\nIdentify and address repeat repairs, comebacks, and quality concerns.\nReinforce shop organization, safety standards, and a professional work environment.\nAct as a working leader-setting the tone for accountability, professionalism, and performance.\nWhat We Are Looking For\nAdvanced automotive diagnostic and repair experience required.\nPrior leadership experience as a Shop Foreman, Lead Technician, or similar role preferred.\nStrong understanding of dealership service operations and workflow.\nProven ability to support and develop technicians through coaching and technical leadership.\nHigh level of accountability for repair quality and shop performance.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills across service, parts, and management teams.\nAbility to make decisions, solve problems, and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.\nManufacturer certifications and/or ASE certifications preferred.\nValid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.\nPay: $70,300 - $190,300 / year is the expected total annual earnings after factoring in all forms of compensation including hourly pay, bonuses, overtime, benefits (vacation and sick) etc. Employees in this position will be a salary of $70,300.
