You’ll take ownership of inventory across the branch managing purchasing cycles, monitoring stock levels, reducing excess stock, and keeping our product data clean and reliable.\nYour day will be varied and hands on, combining system accuracy with strong communication as you work closely with suppliers, the operations team, and the wider team to keep our inventory in great shape and support the yard and showroom when needed.\nConduct cycle counts, stocktakes, and investigate variances \nProcess stock movements, adjustments, and reconciliations \nManage purchase orders and monitor stock levels \nIdentify, minimise, and manage slow moving, low moving, and obsolete stock \nProvide inventory reporting, insights, and data accuracy\nIdentify and implement process improvements across branch operations \nMaintain accurate product information including pricing, labels, and SKUs \nAssist in the yard and showroom when needed engaging with customers face to face \nMaintain cleanliness and uphold safety standards through general store housekeeping\nPermanent full-time role based at PlaceMakers Albany offering 40 hours per week Monday to Friday with rostered Saturdays.\n\nAbout You:\nTo succeed in this role, you’ll be more than just someone who manages stock you’ll be the detail driven backbone of our branch.\nAccuracy matters to you, and you take pride in making sure our stock is in the right place, at the right levels, every day and ready for our customers.
