Your day-to-day will include:\nManaging the end-to-end payroll process, including time and attendance inputs and employee data\nEnsuring employees are paid accurately and on time across each pay cycle\nWorking with time and attendance systems, including interpreting pay rules, testing changes and helping ensure systems are configured correctly\nReviewing and processing allowances, deductions, superannuation and other payroll payments\nCompleting payroll reconciliations, reporting and year-end activities\nMonitoring payroll compliance across areas such as tax, superannuation, working patterns and leave entitlements\nInvestigating and resolving payroll queries, escalating issues where appropriate\nAbout you\nYou’ll bring solid payroll experience and be confident working in a complex business environment where accuracy and compliance really matter. Ideally, you’ll have:\nPrevious experience in a high-volume payroll environment\nStrong knowledge of Enterprise Agreements, Modern Awards and employment legislation\nExperience interpreting EBAs and translating pay conditions into time and attendance/payroll rules\nStrong understanding of payroll compliance, controls, tax, superannuation and employee entitlements\nThe ability to perform off-system payroll calculations and identify discrepancies\nExcellent attention to detail, accuracy and numeracy\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills\nClear and professional communication skills\nA strong customer-service mindset and genuine focus on the employee experience\nMost importantly, you'll be someone who takes ownership, enjoys solving problems and isn't afraid to ask questions or challenge the way things are done when there's a better approach.\nWhy join us?\nThis is a chance to join a large, diverse and established business where payroll plays a critical role in keeping our people and operations running smoothly.
