Leading a team of planners, you'll work closely with construction and engineering leaders to ensure project sequencing, forecasting and reporting support successful project delivery. Your expertise will help identify opportunities to improve productivity, manage programme risks and optimise delivery outcomes.\nLead the development, management, and ongoing optimisation of the project programme using Primavera P6\nLead the planning function, providing direction and support to a team of two planners\nPartner with construction and engineering teams to develop practical, achievable delivery sequences\nMonitor progress against programme milestones and identify risks, delays, and recovery opportunities\nDeliver programme governance, reporting, forecasting and schedule analysis to support project decision-making\nDrive continuous improvement in planning practices, programme governance and project outcomes\nWhat you’ll bring to the role\n12+ years' experience in programme management, construction planning or scheduling on large infrastructure or civil projects\nAdvanced Primavera P6 capability and extensive experience managing complex project programmes\nStrong understanding of construction methodologies and engineering-led project delivery\nProven experience leading a planning function and mentoring planning professionals\nTertiary qualification in Engineering, Engineering Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience\nStrong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders\nAbout Te Awa Kairangi\nTe Awa Kairangi Alliance is delivering transport, walking and cycling improvements to the SH2 Melling interchange and rail station, as part of a wider flood protection and city revitalisation programme.
