Here, your ideas matter, your growth is supported, and your work leaves a lasting impact.\nAbout the Role\nWe are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our team delivering the Cook Strait Interislander Ferries - Wellington Port Infrastructure Early Works. Working closely with the Quality Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring construction activities meet project requirements, quality standards, and client expectations. This is a hands-on role focused on quality assurance, compliance, documentation management, auditing, and project handover, making it ideal for someone who enjoys being both in the field and working closely with project teams to achieve quality outcomes.\nThis is a fixed term role through to December 2028.\nSupport the implementation and ongoing management of project quality systems, processes, and procedures.\nDevelop, review, and manage Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality records, and workpack documentation.\nCoordinate quality documentation through Procore and ensure records are complete, accurate, and submitted on time.\nConduct regular desktop and site-based audits, inspections, and compliance reviews across project activities.\nWork closely with site engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to close out quality requirements.\nAssist with project handover documentation, ensuring all quality records are reviewed, complete, and client-ready.\nWhat You’ll Bring\nA qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.\nExperience in a Quality Engineer, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or engineering role within civil or infrastructure construction.\nStrong understanding of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality documentation, and project handover requirements.\nKnowledge of New Zealand construction standards and quality management systems, including ISO 9001 principles.\nExperience using document management platforms such as Procore and Microsoft Office applications.\nStrong organisation and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across project and subcontractor teams.\nAbout Us\nBrian Perry Civil are specialists in ground engineering and civil construction, delivering some of the most complex and technically challenging projects.
