If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.Job Summary\n\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a 3rd Shift Quality Supervisor located in Manchester Connecticut.\nReporting to the Quality Manager., The 3rd Shift Quality Supervisor will supervise, and coordinates activities related to the Quality Assurance Inspection function, on the manufacturing floor. Quarantine and disposition of nonconforming goods, while ensuring the policies and processes are followed.\nShift: 3rd 7:00pm-03:30am M-F\nHere is a glimpse of what you’ll do:\nAssign employees to maximize quality control goals. \nEnsures that directed shift staffing levels are maintained.\nHire guides and inspectors for shift.\nInterfaces with HR and finance for employee issues.\nResearch data and put corrective actions into place. \nReviews quality reports. \nPerform process and sub factory audits.\nEnsures procedures are followed and may develop procedures for the quality assurance inspection operation. \nProvides immediate supervision and guidance to inspectors, checking work at frequent intervals. \nFrequently interacts with outside customers, vendors and functional peer groups at various management levels and serves as a liaison between customer and the division regarding quality issues.\nDirects daily shift activities.\nConference with management and production to define and hold up quality goals.\nTrains shift guidance to inspectors in quality processes.\nHolds up engineering and other functionalities in correcting employee errors.\nHere is some of what you’ll need:\n3 years Quality Control & Assurance or in related field\n3 years of Supervisory experience in electronics industry or related area.\n3 years in Manufacturing Industry\nEA1\nEA42\nSS26\nAA01\nCH12\nMS14\nCC11\nEC37\nJS21\nWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:\nFull range of medical, dental, and vision plans\nLife Insurance\nShort-term and Long-term Disability\nMatching 401(k) Contributions\nVacation and Paid Sick Time\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nApplication Deadline:\nApplications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
