If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.\nJob Summary\n\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Cost Accountant located in Guadalajara, Campus.\nReporting to the Accounting Manager, the Cost Accountant will in charge of preparing and maintaining accounting records and researching and interpreting accounting records to give advice or prepare statements.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nPerform periodic review of Profit and Loss (P&L) account to ensure that all the postings are done as per the defined Policy, Process and Procedures. \nCompare the Actual with Forecast / Quote and ensure that the variances are properly researched and required adjustment postings are done in the books. Collect the business reasons for the remaining variances and report appropriately. \nReconcile all the scoped Balance sheet accounts with sub ledger/manual schedule to identify the variance, if any and ensure that those variances are properly dealt in the books of accounts. \nReview the accounts on periodic basis to identify any potential risk and ensure that the same is mitigated properly. \nEnsure that all the book close related /reporting activities are properly planned and executed on timely basis with utmost accuracy. \nWork with relevant teams to prepare the Forecast / Budget for the related accounts. \nWork along with Operations team to improve the business / operational metrics. \nBe familiar with relevant Accounting, regulatory and reporting requirements in the Controllers Handbook and RCTS \nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.\nExperience in Cost Accounting, Financial Analysis, or Manufacturing Accounting.\nAdvance English\nManufacturing Environment preferred\nExperience with month-end close\nAccount reconciliations\nP&L\nAnalysis\nBudgeting\nForecasting\nFinancial reporting.\nStrong Excel skills (Pivot Tables) and database management experience.\nExperience with ERP systems, preferably BAAN V5.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nCPA, CMA, APICS, or similar certification is a plus.\nWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:\nCompetitive Salary.\nLife & Medical insurance.\nChristmas Bonus.\nFood Coupons.\nSaving Fund\nCV19\nJob Category\nFinanceRequired Skills:\nOptional Skills:\nFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
