If the intended spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, a company focused on critical digital infrastructure and delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Assistant Manager, Logistics located in Prai, Penang.\nEnsures the implementation of strategies, including supply chain activities to ensure the logistics function achieves its operational and organizational targets in order to create and sustain value for the business and its customers.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nDirects the daily activities of the distribution function, activities include shipping, receiving, inventory control, etc.\nGenerates warehouse productivity reports, in regard to selection rates, receiving rates and accounts for all labor hours.\nAdheres to budget requirements and works toward obtaining goals.\nEnsures contribution between relevant operational departments to ensure production schedules are expedited in a timely manner and that the planning team is helped with regard to work and material schedules.\nEnsures that there is continuous improvement to standard logistics process, such as replenishment, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration and related functions and all are effectively implemented as appropriate.\nBuilds and maintains relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives and resolve customer / operational issues.\nActs as escalation to senior management as appropriate.\nEnsures the team is helped with regards to material requisitioning and production planning.\nMaintains material availability to meet production schedules and/or to ensure products are shipped per customer requirements.\nEnsures materials are received from proper vendors, delivered to inventory and finished goods, and packaged according to specification.\nEnsures provision of all planning related required reporting and present reports or information to senior management as required.\nContributes with department managers on planning related matters, to devise new strategies in relation to inventory management and distribution.\nParticipates, coordinates and provides information and recommendations on various programs or projects, e.g. work simplifications, cost reductions, job training, storage area layout, plant material move routes and procedures, wage administration, communication, etc.\nEnsures the maintenance of warehouse equipment, providing both preventive maintenance programs and all necessary repairs. \nRecommends equipment requirements and replacements in order to upgrade and maintain warehouse productivity and efficiency.\nEnsures warehouse safety programs in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees and within the regulations of all OSHA local and state regulations.\nImplements appropriate HR Strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.\nIn charge for warehouse safety programs in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees and within the regulations of all OSHA local and state regulations.\nImplements appropriate HR Strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce. \nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nTypically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
