If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.Job Summary\n\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’relooking to add anAssociate Production Supervisor locatedin Milpitas, CA.\nReporting tothe managerthe potential candidate would be incharge ofdirecting the manufacturing operations performed in a shift or group of production lines, ensuring they reach volume, qualityand cost goals.\nShift Hours: 2pm PST - 11pm PST (Monday - Friday)\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nLeads the production of several processes/lines in a highly technical environment and responsiblefor the line’s success.\n\nEvaluates daily/regularly plant operating performance and advises on changes in operating conditions that will improve efficiencies and quality.\n\nLead a team of individual professionals (e.g., engineers/officers) to meet quality, cost, deliveryand responsiveness requirements.\n\nTroubleshoot and analyze operational problems and advise on their resolution. Guide regular discussions with operators to coach performance and improve operational understanding and capability.\n\nSolicits and evaluates ideas for plant improvements and collaborates with qualified engineers to develop project proposals.\n\nProvides technical and operational advice to project teams.\n\nMay act as principal interface between the operation team and the maintenance function.\n\nEngage in training and coaching of junior operators.\n\nPrioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply in order tomeet customer requirements.\n\nInitiate and participatein process development and cost improvement projects.\n\nAssistin department budget planning and management of department expenses.\n\nMaintains safeand clean work environment by educating and directing individuals on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintainingcompliance with established policies and procedures.\n\nEnsurescompliance tomanufacturing standards.\n\nThe experience we’relooking to add to our team:\nTypically requires a bachelordegree or equivalent experience in addition to 3+yearof operations experience.\n\nDemonstrates operations and technical skills and understanding of Flex functional standards. Demonstrates a general knowledge of functional concepts and a rudimentary understanding of Flex policies and procedures. Has awareness of the functional impact upon work processes and other functions. Ability to operatetelephones, data entry, office software including,word processing, spreadsheets, presentation packagesand data basesystems.\n\nAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to writereports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clientsand customers.\n\nAbility to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.\n\nAbility to define and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to collect data, establishfacts, interpret a variety of instructions furnishedin written, oral, diagram, or schedule form, and draw valid conclusions.\n\nScope / Impact\nImpactsthe immediate (daily or weekly) operational success of the function.
