If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.\nJob Summary\n\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Production Supervisor ( Repair Area )located in Guadalajara, North Campus.\nReporting to Process Enfineer, Production Supervisor this role involves is responsible for directing the manufacturing operations performed in a shift or group of production lines, ensuring they reach volume, quality, and cost goals. Repair is responsible for leading the daily operations of the repair area, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and customer requirements are met. This position supervises repair technicians and engineers, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures timely resolution.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nResponsible for the production of several processes/lines in a highly technical environment. \nManages a team of professionals (e.g., engineers/officers) to meet quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness requirements. \nReviews daily/regularly plant operating performance, evaluate areas that may be impacting performance, and advise on changes in operating conditions that will improve efficiencies/quality. \nTroubleshoots/analyses operational problems and advises on their resolution. Holds regular discussions with operators to coach performance and improve operational understanding/capability. \nEvaluate ideas for plant improvements and work with qualified engineers to develop project proposals to encourage improvements and changes. \nProvides technical/operational advice to project teams. \nMay act as principal interface between the operation team and the maintenance function. \nMay train and coach junior operators and junior team supervisors \nPrioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply to meet customer requirements. \nInitiates and participates in process development and cost improvement projects. \nAssists in department budget planning and manage department expenses. \nMaintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures. \nEnsures compliance of standards. \nEnsure that all manufacturing area personnel are trained and certified in their specific functions. \nEnsure that all manufacturing personnel adhere to all safety guidelines. \nSupervise daily activities of the repair department, including technicians and repair personnel.\nEnsure production schedules and customer commitments are achieved.\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nBA/BS or equivalent work experience.\nExperience as Production Supervisor.\nStrong experience as leader.\nExperience in electronics repair.\nExperience in similar position in electronic manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge of production control systems (Serials, flows, traceability).\nKnowledge in specifications and standards related to electronics\nExperience in the use of Floor shop systems.\nExperience in BAAN system (or SAP).\nWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:\nCompetitive Salary.\nLife & Medical insurance.\nChristmas Bonus.\nFood Coupons.\nSaving Fund.\nGR66\nJob Category\nOperationsRequired Skills:\nOptional Skills:\nFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
