If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.\nJob Summary\n\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Automation Engineer located in Batam, Indonesia.\n\nResponsible for specifying, designing and maintaining automation equipment, tooling and applications as required to meet specifications.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nDesign, engineer, and modify existing and new moderately-complex automation equipment, tooling and applications to automate manufacturing processes.\nEstablish technical manuals, drawings, models, training documentation, preventative maintenance plans and troubleshooting guides for automated equipment and automated processes.\nUnderstand the machine operating standards, onsequence of wear and tear parts and product defects\nEnsure the uptime of machines through regular preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance\nShould be willing to learn & enhance the skill in all type of Automation equipment.\nShould prepare why-why evaluation & drive for permanent corrective actions.\nShould be able to give feedback to improve the design of process and equipment.\nDirects daily department activities to maximize equipment utilization and support production needs\nCoordinates maintenance activities with other functional groups such as engineering and operations to ensure the efficient operation of the departmental function.\nCollaborates and offers input to planning, building, and maintaining the Automation framework and associated processes for new products.\nIdentifies and drives change to ensure automation effectiveness of existing processes.\nDemonstrates and thorough undersetting of customer requirements, offer suggestions and ideas on how best to deliver automation solutions.\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nMinimum of a Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar field.\nTypically requires at least 1 year of experience in automation engineering in the high technology electronics industry or related area.\nMechatronics design (experience in implementing Robot/Cobot etc.)\nAutomated control (PLC programing, etc)\nExperience in developing devices that include automatic camera recognition.\nCircuit design skills for equipment.\nJob Category\nProduction EngineeringRequired Skills:\nOptional Skills:\nFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
