If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.\nJob Summary\n\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Automation Engineer located in Guadalajara, North.\nReporting to the Equipment Maintenance Manager, Automation role will be responsible for designing, testing, and optimizing automated systems in various mechanical and digital environments to help and improve processes, save costs, and achieve better outcome of design, product, and processes, eliminating defects, errors, and problems with product, process, or software development.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nEngaging with customers and addressing internal project requirements.\nIdentifying opportunities to increase efficiency with automation\nResearching and designing automation technology\nCreating a connection between information inputs, controllers and outputs\nDeveloping tests and simulations to ensure the systems work as intended\nEstablishing monitoring and QA processes\nInvestigating defects or errors in the technology\nManaging safety systems, motor controls, drives, communication systems, and human-machine interface (HMI).\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nBA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience.\nSenior background experience in automation engineering.\nExperience in project management.\nStrong Experience in automotive industry.\nExperience in state of work development.\nExpertise in Bill of Materials (BoM) structuring.\nStrong focus on maintaining systems integrity.\nIn-depth design knowledge.\nProficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.\nFamiliarity with Design for Excellence (DFX) and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles.\nKnowledge and application of PokaYoke methodologies.\nExperience with the design and implementation of fixtures and gages.\nProficient skills in robotic automation.\nStrong background in mechanical engineering.\nExperience in the design of mechanical systems.\nWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:\nCompetitive Salary.\nLife & Medical insurance.\nChristmas Bonus.\nFood Coupons.\nSaving Fund.\nSC69\nJob Category\nProduction EngineeringRequired Skills:\nOptional Skills:\nFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
