If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.\nJob Summary\n\nSummary:\nThe “Buyer Direct ” will be based in Flex North, reporting to Purchasing Manager Direct This role is responsible for procuring direct materials, components, and equipment to support production requirements while ensuring material availability, inventory optimization, and supplier performance.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nMaintain effective relationships with suppliers and ensure alignment on delivery, quality, and pricing expectations.\nPlace, reschedule, and cancel purchase orders based on production requirements, requisitions, and MRP output.\nReview and manage order confirmations, purchase orders, and production plan changes.\nTrack material shipments and expedite deliveries when necessary to avoid shortages.\nMonitor inventory levels to prevent shortages, excess inventory, and material obsolescence.\nReview critical material inventory and resolve inventory discrepancies with warehouse teams.\nCoordinate with freight forwarders, warehouses, and logistics providers to support material flow.\nManage supplier claims, debit/credit issues, invoice approvals and RTV process.\nMaintain procurement records, reports, metrics, and purchasing documentation.\nObtain and evaluate supplier information including pricing, availability, and lead times.\nMonitor material movement throughout the production cycle and support continuity of supply.\nConduct supplier performance reviews and escalate issues when required.\nEnsure compliance with purchasing policies, data privacy requirements, and business procedures.\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.\nMinimum of 5 years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.\nExperience working with MRP/ERP systems and inventory management processes.\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.\nStrong understanding of purchasing, supplier management, inventory control, and logistics processes.\nAbility to analyze data, resolve issues, and make sound business decisions.\nEnglish Advanced.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.\nWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:\nCompetitive Salary.\nLife & Medical insurance.\nChristmas Bonus.\nFood Coupons.\nSaving Fund.\nJM54\nJob Category\nGlobal Procurement & Supply ChainRequired Skills:\nOptional Skills:\nFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
