If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.\nJob Summary\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Buyer Direct located in Juarez Sur\nReporting to the Purchasing Manager Direct the Buyer Direct’s role involves:\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nReviews requisitions and MRP output.\n\nConfers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability and delivery schedule.\n\nDetermines method of procurement such as direct purchase.\n\nOrders, reschedules and cancellations based on requisitions and MRP output.\n\nMaintains procurement records such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery and inventories.\n\nManages supplier to price, delivery and quality expectations and escalates when appropriate.\n\nApproves invoices for payment.\n\nExpedite delivery of goods to users.\n\nAnalyzes inventory levels. Prepares liability reports for excess and obsolete management.\n\nMay gather quotations, examine bids, negotiate contracts and make awards.\n\nMay plan, schedule and monitor the movement of materials through the production cycle.\n\nExperience in Electronic Industry (desirable)\n\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nAdvanced English.\n\nTypically requires a bachelor’s degree\n\nExperience in purchasing area.\n\nInterfaces with suppliers and customers to secure both delivery and the best market price.\n\nMakes tactical buying decisions.
