If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.\nJob Summary\n\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Buyer located in South Campus.\nReporting to the Materials Manager the Buyer ´s role involves:\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nMainteining relations with the suppliers. \nPlacing orders for necessary raw materials and purchased parts according to the requirements of the production. \nReceiving and handling the confirmations. \nChecking the purchase orders and modifying them according to the changes in the production plan with the help of the Shortage List and the Open Purchase Order List. \nTracking shipments, urging them if needed. \nRegular, weekly check of the stocks, avoiding overstock. \nMinimizing the risk of obsolescence with the help of the weekly check of the obsolete report. \nCorrespondence with the freight forwarders, warehouses, and in case organizing the transportation. \nDealing with claims, settling debit and credit issues. \nFiling and recording all necessary documents \nChecking the inventory of critical materials (personally if needed) according to the Shortage List. \nGetting in touch with the right warehouse personnel and having the discrepancy modified if there is any inventory discrepancies. \nHandling purchasing data privacy. \nAssuring all active components according to production needs, in time, for the accord price in the request. \nReviews requisitions and MRP output. \nConfers with vendors to obtain product information such as price, availability and delivery schedule. \nOrders, reschedules and cancels material based on requisitions and MRP output. \nMaintains procurement records such as items purchased, costs, delivery and inventories. \nManages supplier to price, delivery and quality expectations and escalates when appropriate. \nApproves invoices for payment. \nInvestigation inventory levels. \nMonitors the movement of materials through the production cycle. \nConducts quarterly supplier reviews. \nMaintains procurement records, reports and metrics. \nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nBachelor's degree\n Experience managing supplier relationships and purchase orders.\nKnowledge of inventory control, material planning, and shortage management.\nAbility to follow up on shipments and coordinate with suppliers and freight forwarders.\nIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.\nStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nAdvanced English proficiency\nWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:\nPantry vouchers\nSaving Fund\nChristmas bonus\nHoliday bonus\nMedical Insurance\nLife Insurance\nOC16\nJob Category\nGlobal Procurement & Supply ChainRequired Skills:\nOptional Skills:\nFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
