If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.\nJob Summary\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Buyer Indirect located in Guadalajara.\nReporting to the Commodity Manager , Buyer Indirect role involves being responsible for coordinates activities involved with procuring direct materials, components and equipment.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nMaintaining relations with the suppliers.\n\nPlacing orders for necessary raw materials and purchased parts according to the requirements of the production.\n\nReceiving and handling the confirmations.\n\nChecking the purchase orders and modifying them according to the changes in the production plan with the help of the Shortage List and the Open Purchase Order List.\n\nTracking shipments, urging them if needed.\n\nRegular, weekly check of the stocks, avoiding overstock.\n\nMinimizing the risk of obsolescence with the help of the weekly check of the obsolete report.\n\nCorrespondence with the freight forwarders, warehouses, and in case organizing the transportation.\n\nDealing with claims, settling debit and credit issues.\n\nAssuring all active components according to production needs, in time, for the accord price in the request.\n\nReviews requisitions and MRP output.\n\nConfers with vendors to obtain product information such as price, availability and delivery schedule.\n\nOrders, reschedules and cancels material based on requisitions and MRP output.\n\nMaintains procurement records such as items purchased, costs, delivery and inventories.\n\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nBA/BS or equivalent work experience.\n\nIntermediated English level.\n\nExperience Facilities or Engineering Background\n\nProven track record managing material availability to support production schedules (clear-to-build).\n\nExperience using Baan or SAP.\n\nAbility to manage demand changes through push in / push out execution\n\nStrong track record in shortage mitigation and expedite management in fast-paced environments\n\nExperience with end-to-end purchase order management.\n\nDemonstrated experience in cost negotiation and cost reduction initiatives\n\nExperience working with suppliers.\n\nWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:\nCompetitive Salary.\n\nLife & Medical insurance.\n\nChristmas Bonus.\n\nFood Coupons.\n\nSaving Fund.\n\nGM13\nJob Category\nGlobal Procurement & Supply ChainRequired Skills:\nOptional Skills:\nFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
