If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.\nJob Summary\n\nPara support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Cost Accountant, located in Guadalajara.\nReporting to the Controller, the Cost Accountant role is responsible for preparing and maintaining accounting records, as well as investigating and interpreting those records to provide advice or prepare financial statements.\nA typical day looks like:\nPerform periodic reviews of the Profit and Loss (P&L) account to ensure all postings have been made in accordance with defined policies, processes, and procedures.\nCompare actual results against the forecast/quotation and ensure variances are properly investigated and any necessary adjustments are made in the accounting records. Gather business reasons for any remaining variances and report them appropriately.\nReview accounts periodically to identify potential risks and ensure they are properly mitigated.\nEnsure all activities related to financial closing and reporting are properly planned and executed in a timely and accurate manner.\nWork with relevant teams to prepare the forecast/budget for related accounts.\nCollaborate with the operations team to improve operational and business metrics.\nBe familiar with relevant accounting, regulatory, and reporting requirements.\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.\nIntermediate to advanced English.\nBasic knowledge of finance and accounting concepts.\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office / Excel.\nWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:\nCompetitive salary.\nLife insurance and medical coverage.\nChristmas bonus.\nFood vouchers.\nSavings fund.\nYG20\nJob Category\nFinanceRequired Skills:\nOptional Skills:\nFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
