If the intended spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, a company focused on critical digital infrastructure and delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.\n\nThe \"Director, Finance\" will be based in Austin, TX, reporting to VP of Finance.\nThis leader manages a team of finance professionals within the business unit and acts as a strategic finance partner to the senior leadership team. The role is responsible for the accurate compilation, analysis, and reporting of financial data.\nThey will develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies so that financial data is accurate and complies with corporate and legislative requirements.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nDirect preparation of budgets, review budget proposals, and prepare supporting documentation and justification.\nManage preparation of the quarterly financial reporting package for leadership review.\nPrepare reports that summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position (income, expenses, and earnings) based on past, present, and expected operations.\nPrepare detailed financial analysis and projections at the customer level.\nProvide the senior leadership team with timely reviews of the organization's financial status and progress across its programs and activities.\nEstablish or recommend strategies, objectives, and policies to management.\nDevelop financial reporting requirements, and set operational objectives and assignments for the finance team.\nConduct special studies to analyze complex financial actions and prepare recommendations for policy, procedure, control, or action.\nResearch and prepare economic reports on topics including: rate of return and depreciation working capital requirements investment opportunities and performance the impact of governmental requirements\nEnsure monthly account analyses and reconciliations are performed accurately and on time.\nSupport external auditors in their examination of quarterly and year-end financial statements.\nBenchmark systems and controls against market practice to verify process integrity and enhance the Company's value.\nStay current on industry trends and apply them to the business model as appropriate.\nCoach and mentor finance professionals, and drive HR strategies to recruit and retain a qualified, motivated workforce.\nWhat we're looking to add to our team:\nTypically requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience and training.\nMaster of Business Administration (MBA) is preferred.\nTypically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience, including at least 5 years in Finance Management.\nExperience in a manufacturing industry is required.\nKnowledge of US GAAP.\nOne of the following certifications is preferred: CPA, CMA, CA, CGA, CFP, or APICS.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills, coupled with strong analytical skills and business acumen.\nDemonstrates expert functional knowledge, people management, and process management skills.\nAbility to define and analyze problems and draw conclusions across a complex variety of variables.\nLE40\nWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:\nFull range of medical, dental, and vision plans\nLife Insurance\nShort-term and Long-term Disability\nMatching 401(k) Contributions\nVacation and Paid Sick Time\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nApplication Deadline:\nApplications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
