If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.\nJob Summary\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a EH&S Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.\nReporting to the EH&S Manager; the EH&S Engineer will be in charge of developing, implementing and monitoring company environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations.\nAccident-free, healthy work.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nConsults with all departments on design and use of equipment, fire prevention and safety programs \nExamines plans and specifications for new machinery or equipment to define if all safety precautions have been included. \nTours plant to inspect fire and safety equipment, machinery and facilities to identify and correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations. \nDefine requirements for safety clothing and devices, and designs, builds and installs or directs installation of safety devices on machinery. \nConducts or coordinates safety training to educate workers about emergency acknowledge, safety policies, laws and practices. \nInvestigates industrial accidents to minimize recurrence and prepares accident reports. \nConducts air quality tests for presence of harmful gases and vapors. \nIn charge of identifying health and safety hazards and recommending corrective actions. \nServes as internal consultant to business units on ergonomics, hazardous materials, industrial hygiene and fire and chemical safety matters. \nAudits business units. \nInterfaces with outside vendors, contractors and engineers regarding facilities, chemicals and other workplace health and safety related matters. \nCompiles and submits safety reports. \nAdministers workers compensation, OSHA 2000 log and return to work program \nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electromechanical Engineering.\nExperience in Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) within a manufacturing environment.\nStrong knowledge of electrical safety regulations and standards.\nExperience working with electrical systems ranging from 69KV to 115KV.\nElectrical Safety (NFPA 70E)\nArc Flash Analysis\nLockout/Tagout (LOTO)\nMedium Voltage Systems (23 kV)\nRegulatory Compliance (STPS, ASEA, SEMARNAT, CRE)\nCogeneration Plants\nContractor Management\nRisk Assessment\nSafety Audits\nPreferred Qualifications\nISO 45001 / ISO 14001\nISO 31000\nPredictive Maintenance (Thermography, DGA, SF6)\nSustainability Projects\nManufacturing Environment Experience\nKnowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.\nExperience conducting safety audits and investigations.\nFamiliarity with OSHA, NFPA, and other applicable electrical safety standards.\nStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:\nCompetitive Salary.\nLife & Medical insurance.\nChristmas Bonus.\nFood Coupons.\nSaving Fund.\nCV19\nJob Category\nOperationsRequired Skills:\nOptional Skills:\nFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
