If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.\nJob Summary\n\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Engineer, Quality in GBS Pune.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nManage part and component qualification through PPAP and FAI across the product lifecycle\nLead supplier qualification, assess risks, define process parameters, and verify supplier capability against engineering requirements.\nSupport new product launches by ensuring supplier quality compliance.\nFollow up with suppliers for root cause analysis and corrective actions on quality issues\nReview and improve supplier manufacturing processes, driving value and efficiency.\nPromote continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, Poka-Yoke, MSA, and PFMEA techniques\nProvide concise, complete, and accurate documentation of inspection results relative to area of responsibility.\nConduct on-site/virtual audits to verify corrective actions related to supplier quality issues.\nSupport the Quality Manager to monitor and report on supplier product quality and performance.\nReport on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process, or system.\nPreparation & Validation of First Article Inspection\nParticipate in cross-functional teams in the development of new products or changes related to current products in meeting customer requirements.\nManage and coordinate supplier Material / Non-Material cost recovery for Supplier Quality issues.\nEnsure readiness for internal and external audits, assisting in quality audits\nKnowledge on ISO/IATF regulations & requirements\nUndertake special projects as required and Provide data-driven decision support wherever needed.\nLeverages data analytics and statistical methods to optimize manufacturing processes, improve product quality, and enhance operational efficiency.\nConduct benchmarking studies to determine best practices/designs and future trends.\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nBachelor’s degree in EEE / ECE / Mech / E&TC\nMinimum 3-5 experience in Automotive Industry /EMS / Electronics Products Manufacturing Industry.\n 2-5 years of experience in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and Quality Core Tools.\nKnowledge of PCB operations, Lean manufacturing principles, and ISO/IATF standards.\nSkilled in measurement techniques (GD&T) and interpreting engineering drawings.\nStrong planning and prioritization capabilities.\nGood communication and interpersonal skills.\nExcellent analytical and logical reasoning abilities.\nProficient in soft skills, including Excel and presentation skills.\nWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:\nHealth Insurance\nPTO\nBB04\nJob Category\nQualityRequired Skills:\nOptional Skills:\nFlex pays for all costs associated with the application, interview or offer process, a candidate will not be asked for any payment related to these costs.Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
