Together, we’re not just advancing technology - we’re redefining cooling standards to create a more sustainable tomorrow.\nJob Summary\n\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Product Manager located inLittleton, MA.\nReporting to theVP, Design, Process and Technology Engineering, Jet cool Technologies is seeking a dedicated, experienced Product Manager to lead product architecture definition, specifications, design, build, validation, and initial transition to manufacturing for scale-up. Successful candidates will take input from the commercial team, customers, and engineering leadership to define product requirements for each custom solution. The product manager also serves as the direct manager to their engineering team, creating and improving the product through engineering development, testing, characterization, and first article production before handing off production to the operations team. This role involves interaction with executive leadership (product line direction and commercialization decisions), the commercial team (customer and market input and desired specifications), engineering leadership (direct management and technical guidance), manufacturing (successful product transitions), and customers (engineering customizations).\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nDefine product specifications, system architectures, and execution plans for custom solutions leveraging JetCool, Flex, and third-party components.\nBe fluent in mechanical engineering principles for system engineering including pipe flow calculations, thermal engineering calculations, and mechanical drawings. \nDirectly manage and mentor the Dell OEM engineering team, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of new customer solutions and custom integrations.\nServe as the primary customer-facing representative for technical discussions, capturing requirements and translating them into actionable solutions.\nCollaborate with the Sales team to develop proposals, support customer engagements, and deliver tailored liquid cooled server and rack solutions.\nApply systems engineering principles to architect solutions combining cooling technologies, server hardware, manifolds, and integration services.\nSet timelines, milestones, and schedules for successful product development, balancing engineering progress with commercial priorities.\nOversee initial builds, validation, and first-article production before transitioning to operations for scale-up.\nWork closely with vendors to ensure delivery that is on time and meets specifications to deliver compliant, timely integrated solutions to the customer.\nCommunicate progress effectively to internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership.\nDevelop initial Bill of Materials and cost estimates to inform strategic business decisions.\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nBachelor of Science (B.S. in mechanical or aerospace engineering) and 7+ years of work experience\n3+ years in product management\n3+ years of engineering team management experience\nDemonstrated ability with hands-on builds/projects\nProficiency in SOLIDWORKS CAD and drawing packages\nU.S. Citizenship is required\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster’s or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar field.\n10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering\nExperience in product management in servers or data centers\nIndustry experience in fluid systems, computing, or electric vehicle applications\nExperience in providing technical leadership in the framework of small engineering teams\nSavvy with electronics systems and/or electronics packaging\nComfortable in a fast-paced, technology startup\nBO18\nWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:\nFull range of medical, dental, and vision plans\nLife Insurance\nShort-term and Long-term Disability\nMatching 401(k) Contributions\nVacation and Paid Sick Time\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nApplication Deadline:\nApplications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
