This role is responsible for managing daily operations, driving team performance, allocating resources, resolving issues, and serving as the communication bridge between employees and leadership. The ideal candidate is a team-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is committed to quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.\nWhat a Typical Day Looks Like\nLead and supervise the Engineering Support team to ensure achievement of departmental goals and production targets.\nEstablish performance expectations, monitor progress, and provide coaching and development opportunities for team members.\nOwn and manage production schedules, ensuring engineering support activities are completed on time and meet customer requirements.\nOrganize workflow and allocate resources to support production and engineering projects.\nMonitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback to improve performance and engagement.\nFoster a culture focused on teamwork, accountability, quality, and customer commitment.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production and engineering-related challenges.\nAct as a liaison between department employees and management, ensuring effective communication and alignment.\nIdentify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions that increase efficiency and effectiveness.\nHire, onboard, and train new employees while supporting their professional growth and development.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.\nAddress employee concerns and support conflict resolution when necessary.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to support operational excellence and customer satisfaction.\n\nThe Experience We're Looking to Add to the Team\nAssociate's degree in Business Management, Engineering Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.\nMinimum of 2 years of experience in Engineering Support, manufacturing operations, or a related technical environment.\nExperience leading teams and managing departmental priorities in a manufacturing setting.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD, and other engineering-related software.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nExcellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.\nDemonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships across departments and levels of the organization.\nPreferred\nExperience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.\nKnowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.\nPrevious supervisory or team leadership experience.\nExperience with production planning, workflow coordination, and project management.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to sit, use a computer, and perform keyboarding activities for extended periods.\nFrequently stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout a manufacturing facility.\nOccasionally lift, move, or carry up to 30 pounds.\nAbility to work safely in a manufacturing environment with occasional exposure to production-related hazards.\nAC29\nWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:\nFull range of medical, dental, and vision plans\nLife Insurance\nShort-term and Long-term Disability\nMatching 401(k) Contributions\nVacation and Paid Sick Time\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nApplication Deadline:\nApplications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
