If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.Job Summary\n\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a/an Engineering Technician to our team.\nReporting to the Process Engineering Manager, the Engineering Technician will perform complex engineering tests, troubleshooting, data analysis, and development activities while supporting process improvements, equipment performance, product validation, and operational problem resolution in a manufacturing environment.\nWhat a Typical Day Looks Like:\nPerform complex engineering tests, checkouts, and development engineering activities to support manufacturing and operational objectives.\n\nAnalyze engineering test results, collect data, and implement corrective actions to resolve process and equipment-related issues.\n\nReview project instructions, blueprints, specifications, and procedures to determine testing requirements and identify potential technical solutions.\n\nSet up and conduct testing of complete units and components to support development, standardization, quality control, and problem resolution efforts.\n\nAnalyze test results against specifications and adjust equipment or processes to achieve required performance and operational objectives.\n\nRecord test procedures, results, data, and recommendations while maintaining software, documentation, and equipment revisions.\n\nAssist engineers with the development and design of hardware and software used to test customer products and manufacturing processes.\n\nTrain technicians and operators on products, equipment, processes, and testing procedures while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nThe Experience We're Looking to Add to the Team:\nAssociate degree, military training, equivalent vocational training, or equivalent experience with a minimum of 4 years of related experience.\n\nExperience troubleshooting electronics, equipment, and automated manufacturing processes in a production environment.\n\nKnowledge of engineering and testing techniques with the ability to collect data, analyze results, and implement process improvements.\n\nExperience working with automation equipment, fixtures, conveyor systems, or related manufacturing technologies.\n\nAbility to define problems, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and interpret a wide variety of technical instructions.\n\nAbility to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures, and effectively communicate technical information to managers, customers, and team members.\n\nKnowledge of mathematical concepts including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions and their application to practical situations.\n\nDemonstrated technical skills with the ability to support multiple projects, participate in process improvements, and work effectively under general supervision.\n\nWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:\nFull range of medical, dental, and vision plans\nLife Insurance\nShort-term and Long-term Disability\nMatching 401(k) Contributions\nVacation and Paid Sick Time\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nApplication Deadline:\nApplications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
