If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.\nJob Summary\n\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Equipment Maintenance Engineer located in Guadalajara, South Campus.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nThrough troubleshooting, identifies machine malfunctions and isolates the failure mechanism.\nRepairs the failure mechanism in the most cost-effective manner.\nPerforms preventive maintenance at specified intervals and schedules.\nPerforms calibrations and re-qualifications on equipment at specified intervals and schedules.\nAssists process technicians and engineers with the installation and removal of process equipment.\nResearches and implements corrective action reports and process tracking mechanisms.\nRecords times and problems in equipment logs.\nProvides daily equipment functioning activity information.\nSets up standard and special purpose laboratory equipment to test, evaluate and calibrate other instruments and test equipment.\nDisassembles instruments and equipment and inspects components for defects.\nAligns repairs, replaces, and balances component parts and circuitry.\nDevises formulas to solve problems in measurements and calibrations.\nAssists engineers in formulating test, calibration, repair and evaluation plans and procedures to maintain precision accuracy of measuring, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment.\nMay require travel to other Flex sites or equipment vendors' locations.\nHighest level may perform both software and hardware maintenance.\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nTypically requires an associate degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field, military technical training, or equivalent education and training.\nExperience in equipment maintenance within a manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge of the following SMT equipment (FUJI and/or SIPLACE ASMPT Pick and Place equipment, DEK screen printers, Reflow ovens, PVA equipment, Wave soldering equipment)\nKnowledge of programming and industrial automation systems.\nExperience with SMT (Surface Mount Technology) manufacturing processes. \nStrong understanding of automation equipment, PLCs, sensors, and production control systems. \nExperience developing and implementing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance plans. \nKnowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and computerized systems troubleshooting. \nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills. \nExperience in equipment calibration, testing, and continuous improvement methodologies is preferred. \nTeam management experience\nIntermediate English\nWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:\nCompetitive Salary \nLife & Medical insurance \nChristmas Bonus \nFood Coupons \nSaving Fund. \nLife Insurance \nGM13\nJob Category\nOperationsRequired Skills:\nOptional Skills:\nFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
