If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.\nJob Summary\n\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Equipment Maintenance Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.\nReporting to the Equipment Maintenance Manager theEquipment Maintenance Engineer is responsible for supporting highly automated manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, optimizing, and commissioning SMT and Press-Fit equipment, ensuring reliability, safety, and continuous improvement.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nTroubleshot SMT and Press Fit equipment, identifying failures in electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.\nPerform repairs, component replacements, adjustments, and fine tuning on advanced manufacturing equipment.\nUpdate daily equipment status, performance metrics, and downtime reports.\nExecute preventive and predictive maintenance activities.\nPerform calibrations and re qualifications (electrical, pneumatic, optical).\nProgram, optimize, and support equipment including: ASM (SIPLACE / DEK): feeders, nozzles, vision systems, OEE improvement. Koh Young: SPI/AOI tuning, SPC analysis, false call reduction. Heller: thermal profile setup and validation. Hayawin / YJLink: line balancing, buffers, SMEMA integration. Camalot: dispense volume control, epoxy handling, valve maintenance\nTE Connectivity Press Fit: force/displacement control, setup optimization, defect analysis\nLead equipment start ups, testing, commissioning, and validations.\nDocument maintenance logs, corrective actions, and technical reports.\nSupport audits, reliability initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.\nTrain technicians, assign tasks, and ensure adherence to maintenance procedures.\nPromote safety, compliance, and best maintenance practices.\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nBA/BS in Engineering or similar.\nExperience in equipment maintenance or manufacturing operations leadership.\nExperience with equipment installation and relocation.\nAdvanced English (technical communication).\nStrong knowledge of electronics, pneumatics, mechanics, and automation.\nHands-on experience with ASM, Koh Young, Heller, Hayawin, YJLink, Camalot, and Press-Fit equipment.\nAbility to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and SMT / Press-Fit manuals.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nExperience supervising and coordinating technical personnel.\nAvailability to work different shifts.\n\nWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:\nCompetitive Salary.\nLife & Medical insurance.\nChristmas Bonus.\nFood Coupons.\nSaving Fund.\nLife Insurance.\nKJ12\nJob Category\nOperationsRequired Skills:\nOptional Skills:\nFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
