If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.Job Summary\n\nGeneral Purpose:\nApplies engineering values to design, modify or develop facilities, testing, machines, equipment or processes used in processing or manufacturing products.\nPrinciple Accountabilities:\nResearches facility products or equipment specifications and performance requirements to define designs which can be produced by existing manufacturing or processing facilities and methods. \nResearches engineering proposals, process requirements and related technical data pertaining to industrial facilities machinery and equipment design. \nDefines feasibility of designing new plant facilities equipment or modifying existing facilities considering costs, available space, time limitations, company planning and other technical and economic factors. \nProvides technical facilities information concerning manufacturing or processing techniques, materials, properties and process advantages and limitations which affect long range plant and product engineering planning. \nCompiles and researches facilities research data to establish performance standards for newly designed or modified equipment. \nStudies engineering and technical publications to keep abreast of technical changes and developments in industry. \nUses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks. \nGuides projects and project teams. \nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering preferred or equivalent experience and training.\nMinimum of 6 plus years of experience as an Industrial or Facilities Engineer or related area.\nDemonstrates advanced operations, technical and people and/or process skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.\nDemonstrates expert knowledge of the function and a thorough comprehension of Flex’s and related business.\nProficient in AutoCAD\nAbility to read, research and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.\nAbility to read, research, and interpret common technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.\nAbility to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
